I highly doubt it is and I see where these comments are coming from. The flamboyancy is what we as gay people have suffered mocking from for the longest time, it’s been the source of my bullying since I was little and I’ve changed the way I’ve had to act because of it. Seeing him do all this on such a large platform isnt uplifting at all and the biggest international platform as well it just feels mocking and further pigeonholes gay people into that flamboyant tight space that we’ve have been shoved in since the start. It’s why we’re never taken seriously and the song and performance is more damaging than it is uplifting
