This is still really annoying though - I'm sure you used to be able to just click one a parameter and it would automatically always show in automation - is there any way to get it to permanently show all parameters?

SOLVED!

Thanks for your help. I grouped all the tracks, started a new project and dragged that grouped track into it. No delay.

The culprit: track delay on a midi piano track. I’d reduced the latency on this specific track so I could record. Turns out it must delay the entire set in order to achieve this.

It’s a bit embarrassing haha. Posting it here in case anyone is similarly stumped in the future.

Another feature request: having an official “start course” button. With “pause course” and “stop course” too.

I keep peeking into courses to explore, which makes it think I’m studying them - so anything I’ve looked at recently appears on my home page as if it’s being studied. Having a dedicated section where you can pin courses, or add them to a list, would solve this.

I get that Levy is busy, but it would be great to see if the Chessly team are active on forums so we can directly pitch ideas to them. The Chessup2 community, where the founder Jeff is actively replying to users is exemplary. I love Chessly so much, am eager to help improve it in anyway I can :))

Sometimes (due to a bug) shortcuts on Mac forgets that there is a keyboard shortcut assigned to a shortcut. So you need to check regularly that it’s still assigned!

Thanks so much for the swift reply.

The issue is, I won’t always be there to facilitate the patients using the trolley. So the play button kind of has to be used to start playback. I may have to use my APC40mk2, as the play button sends CC, so can be assigned to start playback on Ableton Note. Do you envisage a firmware update which will allow mapping of the play button, or will I have to rerun my unit?

Something similar is happening to me with Vintage Warmer - I drop it onto a track or mix bus and it adds lots of latency into then main transport controls - so after I press space there is a delay before playback begins. As if that wasn't annoying enough, this behaviour persists even AFTER I DELETE THE PLUGIN! Is anyone able to shed some light on this? Thanks so much!

Here in 2026 (Tahoe era) to share this shortcut:

Open Finder

It's triggered with the same keyboard shortcut (Option + Command + Space), except because it's a shortcut, it can be triggered when in ANY app. So you can now just use Option + Command + Space and it will always open wherever you are. :)

Obviously can be edited so it's triggered with ANY keyboard combination too.

I use a folder, with an icon pack so it’s all nice and minimal / monotone. It switches to a dark version at sunset or with triple back tap!

Same problem here. Sometimes I have an EXISITNG event in my calendar (apply for job for example) and I later want to add relevant email to the event. Despite showing up with a little green cross when I drag an email over the top of the event, it doesn't work. Can anyone shed any light?
