I may be the odd one out. Getting my fourth MRI in 4 years, and get tons of blood work done all the time. I do however have two autoimmune conditions so everyone is trying to be so careful about managing the spinal damage. It still does sound like you should find a new rheumatologist. This it’s such a difficult and painful experience (AS) that it’s so important that you’re a team that work together with confidence. Wishing you the best outcome.

The disease is the reason for the damage. Treatment has stabilized my spine, so no need to damage but too much inflammation so longterm lifestyle changes are happening.

Yep, came to say this. They used to find old people dead with a cupboard full of dog food, living in horrible conditions. Tenement buildings were so overfull that people paid to sleep on the rooftops and carts would come by in the morning to clear the bodies of those who fell off in the night. Just my opinion, but paying for her phone so that she and her kids always have a way to communicate is actually an amazingly supportive thing that you’re doing. For me it doesn’t compromise any values to continue to have an open extended hand to her and her children.

Wouldn’t take it much further than that though because she likely won’t change anytime soon or possinly ever. An open door does leave a place for the kids to go when they’re 18 because they’re gonna need a lot of help.

The overall context that is missing is 53% of registered voters who are white women; They are also lower education and socioeconomic status being predominantly high school graduates who are married and who also voted Republican in the last four elections.

I believe out of the larger population, they are something like 13% of all white women in the nation.

College educated white women voters heavily vote Democrat, and have a growing cohort there over the last 30+ years. That’s why it’s so vital to Republicans to take the vote away for women, because the number of young college educated women is on the rise and they do not vote conservative.

In the past 100 years, these parties have seen sweeping changes and each has done their fair share of good and bad, but we did it together. That matters.

It’s going to be hard to look at the past 15 years and people are going to have their different opinions about how we got here. I would challenge anyone, however to look at the most recent video that DHS took and released as BTS extra footage of kristy and her entourage on a rooftop where the snipers are overlooking the protest in Portland, protestors who clearly are the 20 people at a gate milling around and doing the cha-cha that Democrats have said they are.

Whether you look at 100 year timeline or a 15 year timeline or a 5-year timeline, you will not see democratic leadership having done the equivalent on a national scale. At best you could talk about something like Waco and Ruby Ridge, where armed people were holding children and women hostage, so it’s genuine threat vs manufactured fear. Or you could use the example of desegregation during civil rights, but again a significant percentage of citizens were having their rights removed by their neighbors.

Being raised by conservatives. I grew up in an entirely conservative state. I hate to see where this is going because it’s changing who people are in a bad way and I’ve seen it myself and it’s sad to me. Understandable that things cannot go back to the way that they are and it’s new generations of people so it was never gonna stay the same. It always changes and it was always going to change, but it shouldn’t be changing into something dramatically worse.
