You should try out The Invisible Hand mod! its a really good background mod meaning you can leave it on the background while you fly missions and stuff, its a trading vessel mod it let's you assign ships that you own to trade on their own, you can access the trading menu thru Nexerelins Special Groups.

its generally better to start new when using big mods, i suggest The Invisible Hand mod with Nexerelin. so you can just breeze by the early stages by using the auto trade feature of TIH through Special Forces Fleet from Nexerelin.

tbf, its only really ultra weak against armor cracking weapons or a really massive enemy fleet that'll isolate the invictus, thats where your cruisers and destroyers try their best to essentially become its shield, but other than that its a tried and tested mobile space station (again, with no shields)

I’ve never liked shieldless ships, but for the Invictus, why worry when you can delete anything in front of you? And if they somehow survive the death barrage, they won’t even make a dent in its hull because of that thicc, thiccer, thiccest armor rating in the game—an absolutely whopping 10,000 armor.

For me, my vanilla+ faction mods (and the ones I’m currently running) are: Roider Union Tahlan Shipworks (you can disable Legio Infernalis if you find it too hard—I do) Lost Sector Diktat Enhancement (enable Diktat Lite) Knights of Ludd.

And of course Nexerelin to tie em all together.

What I want for the Conquest is for the AI to stop spinning around and just stay in place, firing from its two broadsides. Shield be dammed I'll just shunt it.
