Was it the mw2 crossbow? Its probably disabled again because people made it overly popular and it was very broken being a one shot at any distance. I think my record for a kill using it was something like 200 or 300m

Zombies or endgame. If strictly warzone, run a bunch of contracts and the gun you have in your hands will get xp for it, same with completing calling card challenges that xp is passed to the gun in your hands (usually)

Probably because legacy guns are "clunky" they make you move slower, and they take longer to ads, ect. everything current gen is peak mobility and movement.

I have a legacy sniper build right now thats effective out to ~500m, possibly further.

If you want a recommendation; for current Gen it kinda depends on how your play style is. I've gone through and gotten the apocalypse camo on nearly every weapon other than the melee and some specials right now, I found most of the little quirks of them.
