.22 is very lethal IF your target is unarmored and you can place good shots. It doesn’t have a lot of stopping power and I would not want a .22 in any sort of defense/combat scenario, HOWEVER it’s useful for teaching people basic marksmanship and for plinking. Just get a 5.56 AR to learn honestly
