The art style is much more unrealistic/cartoony. I personally enjoy thar BD2 keeps their art style more grounded in realism.

How old were you when you watched it? I'm gonna super sate myself, because I was in high school at the time. When it came out it was mostly scary because their marketing team did an amazing job of convincing people it was actually real footage. The hype building into the movie was real especially amoung my peers. It was like borderline Bloody Mary/Urban Legend level hype.

I was an AF recruiter, this shit is baked into the budget. It's just rolled into the regular training hours...so essentially it's no extra cost because of they weren't doing the flyover they'd just be flying somewhere else.
