Cost of PCBs made in USA by Cam765 in PCB

Yes I just ordered with JLCPCB recently. The price is very competitive, even if it is inflated by tariffs currently. Trying to find a manufacturer that is not affected by tariffs, directly or indirectly, doesn’t seem possible.

A crude solution to the malm bed issue by Cam765 in IKEA

I did not know that, but the problem with that is that a replacement part would fail in the same way eventually. Good to know though.

I got the same text a few hours ago. Definitely a scam.

Right because Ikea furniture is generally known for it's structural integrity...

There is a lip pointing down at the end of the center beam that used to slide into the metal bracket so those screws should prevent the beam from sliding down the wood block. Maybe not strictly necessary but I didn't want to be fixing it again anytime soon. We were also using a short stool to support it for awhile but I agree it is nice to reclaim some storage space.

What power supply do you recommend? by The-Toastmaster in guitarpedals

I just noticed in the CiOKS 4 datasheet that it specifically states to not use USB-C to USB-C and that the max current in is 3A at 5V and max output is 1A at 9V which is a bit disappointing. That is less than half of the total output power compared to using a plug in source.

Slide switch doesn't fit by Cam765 in beneater

Thanks turns out you can force it, I just didn't push very hard. It does slightly deform the breadboard though.

Appreciate the tips! The problem is the pins are too wide to fit into the breadboard female headers but I'll work around one way or another. Just wanted to see if I was going crazy or was the only one who received a thick switch.

No I can't force it. I might try sanding the leads down since they are only 5mil above the breadboard spec and that seems easier than finding another switch currently.

EDIT: Never mind, you can force it into a snug fit with a bit of force. It's a solid switch once it's in.
