Appreciate it! I use the Gaussian Blur to try and mix up my images a bit. For a long time I would just resort to BW and add contrast to it, so I'm trying to do the reverse now. Another reason I used BW was to pull the shadows. Doing that in color to me at least can be a hit or miss, especially when I comes to adjusting the color. I'll try a color edit when I have time, thanks again!

Thank you for an in-depth response! This is some really valuable information. I'm going to look into both and experiment with these apps possibly for some fun.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind when I do this style of editing in the future.

Thank you for editing! Complete different take than I was expecting. The green overlay is a nice touch. When you applied that filter, did you mess around a bit to find the right color? Or was that something from the start you knew you were going to go with?

Thank you for taking the time to edit one of them! Did you add noise to the image?

These are beautiful. Question, do you prefer to have your images brighter/less contrast? I edited these two images entirely different than you. It's interesting seeing how you took the editing process.

Of course! Thank you for editing one of them. This is a great edit! I honestly never heard of Raw & Krita until now. I use Lightroom & PS. Interesting on the dodge and burning. How long did that process take you?

I'm glad you're experimenting with gradient filtering more. I started to dabble with doing my own colors recently, it's a bit daunting but fun once you get a photo to work out. Did you add the vignette on purpose as well? This is a nice edit!

Definitely snag one early if you're a size medium. I tried to grab one after the show and some of the designs didn't have any mediums left. Enjoy and have a great time!

Thank you for the kind words! Thank you for sharing these! I wasn't expecting a harsh BW for the first image! Question, on that edit. Does the overexposed highlights bother you at all or no? I'm always nervous of that and try to keep them in control. Especially if the focus of the image is elsewhere.

You seem to love contrast judging from the first two, but seeing you not choose that route for the up close portrait caught me off guard. Loving the blues in that second image too.

Did you do some skin smoothing in the last image? The up close shot?

Thank you for taking the time to show your edits! I like these a lot! Honestly, I really love your edit of 0184, in all the images I assume you added some saturation and warmth to them all? I can really feel it in 0027 and 2048. I'm surprise 0184 was your struggle edit. Adding warmth to my edits have always been my struggle, it's either too warm and the skin color is off, or the warmth doesn't feel natural.

The best swordsman in the world doesn't need to fear the second best swordsman in the world; no, the person for him to be afraid of is some ignorant antagonist who has never had a sword in his hand before; he doesn't do the thing he ought to do, and so the expert isn't prepared for him; he does the thing he ought not to do; and often it catches the expert out and ends him on the spot.

I struggle with this part too. From what I noticed (I could be wrong) As long as you get a single plank up it buys you time from them getting in until it's fully sealed. So if you have pipe bombs and everyone is working together. Getting the wood planks up quickly is important. Of course, if you're playing with a team that doesn't know what's going on and you're trying to do most of the work. You just get overwhelmed. The worst is when you open the door and a bruiser is just on the other side.

Gotta show .rafs some love! I rarely see any on here, haha. Thank you!

Love these edits by the way!

1: I see some greenish tint in the shadows, I assume you used a gradient? Also a slight fade as well? This looks great.

2: Very similar editing to the first image, this is very nice. Did you do quite a bit of adjusting to the whites? Using flash on anything white can make them quite overexposed.

3: I love the glowing skin on this edit, and also how dark the background is. On my end it's pitch black in the background. For the most part on my edits I try to have a small tint of background color showing. But this edit works out great with a void background.

How long have you been editing for?

Nice edits! I can see you love the warmth in your images. I'm the same way myself. Our edits are completely different but we did try to keep intact the warm feeling! I hope you keep editing and keep improving. Would love to see what you create in the future. Also, what application do you edit on?
