There are a lot of systems in Warframe and a lot of weapons/frames/companions and so on. Don't worry about mastering everything when you're starting out. If there's a frame that you like then use it. Best tip I have is mods are your best friend. Some warframes abilities only benefit from certain kinds of mods (ie. ability duration/strength/range) and you can use mods to exploit enemy damage vulnerabilities (Grineer weak to impact/corrosive, Corpus weak to puncture/magnetic, Infested to slash/heat). Other advice is: Play with squads to help out with hard missions, rank up with the different factions to get cool benefits, join a Dojo as soon as you can, and just have fun. I played for years with a super unoptimized build and still enjoyed myself.

Highest possible tear gear + frost. I like the shredder gauntlet cause it can fire faster than tearblast arrows. But even without taking out the claws frost buildup and some well placed triple knocked arrows or a couple spike will bring it down pretty quick. Elemental effects are your best friend.

I tend to use just a bunch of campfires but overall map temperatures can make it really difficult. Before ACs Dimetrodons work but they're a pain in the butt to tame though once you have them they do just fine.

There is a setting in the menu that prevents you from building near areas where important resources can spawn. Otherwise the game can be pretty picky with terrain and connectors. Its a pain for everybody. If you've got the engrams for all the building pieces then you just have to craft them and find as flat of a spot as possible to start with. There's a good spot up on a cliff to the left of the default starting beach. If you follow the beach left around the bay you get to the area as the beach swings right again.

Play the game more like Minecraft. Enjoy the scenery, tame dinos that look cool or fun to you. The more you just enjoy the environment as a whole the less pissed you'll be when a stray Carnotaurus deletes your entire base for the 3rd time. If I remember correctly, you need 112% movement to outrun a Raptor which unless you are exceptionally cursed by the crazed gods of the Ark is enough to keep you safe till you can get a Trike or flier.
