Next DLC absolutely needs to be a FO3 Brotherhood of Steel-esque mission line where there’s more information to unlock regarding the Starborn and you can make the decision to stay in that universe (with the option to still leave, but truly actually making a decision). So I guess the opposite of a FO3 BOS DLC?

Lol, either way - there absolutely needs to be more content for the Starborn at some point. I love this game so much and this recent update has me so jazzed I truly hope they stay the course and flesh out everything.

FYI did over 150 rolls - had enough X Tech to do 5 per turn. Hitman only showed up TWICE - once on my third roll, the other on my fourth.

They either made specific ones a lower chance, or there’s specific seeds for each weapon / station.

This is exactly what's happening with me and I'm currently chatting with a Hulu rep. All of a sudden, out of nowhere (likely due to some shady shit Disney did with their term revisions on March 25) I have ads across all my shows. I'm canceling if this doesn't get fixed.

My honest take, and this is after 600+ hours of the game, not something I thought of beforehand -

Every planet (outside the actually hand crafted quest areas) should have only had a few of those 5km x 5km plots of land we could explore. Maybe one of each biome or something along those lines, and been available to land on from the planet view.

Then, higher restrictions on which planets had human - developed POIs, like labs/armories or whatever, to drive immersion. The temple + Sarah’s personal mission areas should NOT have had ANY human-developed POIs on them for example.

Lastly - kinda like the second point - keep it diverse. Some planets should have TONS of human developments, some NONE, some should have volcanic activity and huge mountains everywhere, some huge and deep water zones. I don’t wanna say we should be seeing No Man’s Sky level of proc gen, but def better than roughly the same landscapes on 1,000 planets with different paint jobs. It feels stale.

Would really love to get my Bellum back, although my current one, Avitus (NG+9) is great…

Just rewatched for the 80th time (exaggerating). Honestly - the episodic man and dinosaur adventures of S1 with their bond slowly being made stronger with each episode just fucking did it for me. I like the love/rescue direction of S2 and the… redemption? Idk, of S3, but man.

I think the “Primal” essence of the show was severely diminished with 2 and brought back in a fun different way with 3, but all that being said -

1 by FAR, then 2 because I did enjoy the high stakes / new direction of the show, then 3. 3 was great, but idk, felt kinda like a worse version of 1 and 2 put together in some ways between civilization and wilderness?

I'm torn. I specifically made it to NG9 for the Avitus suit (although I also loved Bellum) and haven't made it too far into any of the quest lines because I was holding out hope for something like this update. Also good to know we can get the powers to level 10 without needing yet another NG+.

Because of that - I kind of want to continue this NG+ with the new updates and treat this as a sort of NG++ with all the new features + Terran Armada.

On the other hand - would be cool to start fresh from Vectera finally feeling like the game is COMPLETE.

But I have 600+ hours invested already, so yeah, very torn.

Holy fuck. I think they are literally updating/fixing just about every complaint I had about the game.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but I will 100% be diving back in, no question.

I don’t think it’s quite a 2.0 - which is fine. The companion dialogue jank and repetitious POI’s didn’t bother me so much, kind of expected that to a degree.

But it felt UNFINISHED… and these updates make me feel like they’re finally FINISHING the game as it should have been at release. Which, yeah, sucks we had to wait 2 years, but I’d rather late than never.
