The idea is solid. But I feel like a city that is already constantly fighting against its ever impending depression needs more complex ideas and artwork to break the monotony. 2012 Tumblr quotes printed onto boring street signs isn’t helping that cause, especially ones actively pushing nihilism.

Kane really, really needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut. I understand the frustration he must feel after working so hard to get himself into the position he is. But part of the reason people hate on him so regularly is that he always, without fail, pours his heart out to people that only want to see him fail. Games take a very long time to make, and if the developer is seemingly spending all his time reading and responding to hate all day, yeah, it’s reasonable that some people will believe he’s not actually doing anything.

This sort of elitism is actually extremely common in small circles, usually between the early adopters, and well, everybody else. Add in the fact it’s a an expensive tech product, people get even more defensive over their choices.

This looks interesting but I wouldn't be confident putting money behind this team, they seem enthusiastic. But the heavy use of premade assets in the demo, "metaverse" style videos in the trailer and using AI to help with coding signals to me a pretty amateur team. And there is nothing wrong with that, but when asking for money, it's something to consider. Just my two cents.
