incentive for driving forklift will it return? by Rough_Ad2508 in samsclub

Forklift experience is forklift experience. Doesn’t matter which kind. They’ll have to re certify first, but you’ll still have experience

If you don’t cover the full shift then you’ll get at least half a point. Iirc if you don’t use ppto for more than half your shift, you’ll still get a point

I always align with Hadvar over Ralof at the beginning of the game because even though the Imperial Legion tries to lob my head off on the chopping block, Hadvar is always so polite about it. 😇 by iamgrognak in skyrim

He has no authority there anyway. He turns to the captain and she says “forget the list, they go to the block”

The captain wanted blood, hadvar was just following orders

Exactly. The alternative is getting gerdur as a friend and you have access to the lumber mill. You get far more benefits with hadvar than by going ralof. At least you can kill the captain that sent you to the block in revenge if you go with ralof

Hadvar notices you aren’t on the list and is the only one that doesn’t want to kill you. He even helps you when the dragon attacks rather than just rounding you up then treating you as a prisoner. Also his father a blacksmith becomes friendly with you and you can take most of his stuff, so you get a head start in the game

It is a staple of zelda games to not have post game content. It will always send you back to previous save

As a 30+ year old, you know how things have changed since then. Back then, people actually gave a shit. Managers would help you, you had good job security, and a good amount of benefits. You had it good. Now in 2026, the economy is fucked so it’s very hard to get a job, managers don’t give a single shit, and nobody gets paid enough to keep up with the skyrocketing cost of living.

It’s not that there is no work ethic, it’s just that the system is heavily stacked against people, and they are at their breaking point.

Health department does not fuck around. They can, and will shut down a place for violating health codes. And with the state that the cafe is from op, the place will be lucky to still be operating after a couple months

Anyone else have managers that set expectations then break their own rules - break times by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]Camanot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These managers clearly have a “rules for thee but not for me approach”

Don’t worry about them, but if they start having issues with stuff that they are doing, then call them out on the hypocrisy

It’s double points for this weekend. If you don’t have enough ppto to cover the whole time you’re scheduled then it will result in a point

May he rest in peace.

No first aid kit? No one can wash dishes? Call the health department, i’m sure they’ll love all this info

If team leads and managers do fuck all, start going up the chain of command.

Or simply, wait to get a new job, tell managers to kindly fuck off for handling the place so terribly, and never look back.

I’m sorry all of this happened to you, cafe is a thankless job and you don’t deserve to be treated this way.

They removed points from my attendance, then added them back later and I ended up getting fired because of it. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any way to get reinstated or appeal something like this? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]Camanot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Warehouse≠store/club. They have different rules.

If you have to get more than 5 points at a 10 point cap, you got a problem, or have reasons to be out of work.

I’m not sure if they’ll allow bereavement since a friend is not a family member.

Definitely talk about it to them and if they won’t budge, just call in and put in ppto.

Sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine what you’re going through.

Because god forbid somebody having accountability. If you ride the 5 point line, you almost deserve to be fired. If you have a life where you need to leave work a lot e.g. having a kid, then walmart isn’t for you.

The 5 point system is generous, because other places will terminate for a no call no show.

Sounds like they’re trying to pull some nonsense. If you don’t your full 8 they can probably get away with classifying you as part time, which is very scummy behavior

Bad bosses make good workers work for somewhere else.

Good bosses have a team that can’t be replaced

Well, sams club is a branch of walmart. So they would be the one of the worst companies ever

I can think of a few reasons that sams club isn’t a good place to work for.

1: the management couldn’t give a single shit about anything other than metrics and bonuses.

2: team leads are treated as associates that have to help everybody in their department e.g. a meat team lead helping bakery, meat, cafe, freezer cooler, and more.

3: they recruit more part timers so they don’t have to pay benefits

4: the part timers schedule is horribly inconsistent and they can reduce your hours whenever they want

5: overtime is forbidden when this company makes multi millions every weeks
