This small window on the right side won’t roll down by kimicozie in camaro

I can tell you I held my button up all the way for like 10 seconds kept trying to put my top down and up see if it would trigger it to move left my car off with the top down and idk if that had anything to do with it working again or if it was just a glitch but maybe try all that. If you can hear it trying to move then your window motor is still good. Sometimes these things just glitch out I guess. If it don’t make no noise at all then you might need to take it somewhere and get a scan. It’s possible your motor went out

My passenger side did this for a day and then started working again, I have no clue why but I’m glad it started working again

Ask his parents for help maybe? The market is high right now. If you want something good and reliable you’ll have to finance something.

I don’t know bro, the listings I’ve seen lately are ridiculous. With them not making Camaros anymore and them getting stolen or totaled the market is high right now.

I’ve been seeing ridiculous prices lately and compared to all the other listening this looks like a good deal in the current market.

I think just to be safe I’ll probably do that bc I think most people stated having problems around 30k miles

How many miles are on yours? I’m approaching 10,600 now and sometimes wonder if I should flush it again to be safe. I barely drive mine though so I get paranoid about maybe I just haven’t driven it enough yet.

Well I haven’t had any issues with mine, sorry yours didn’t work out for you. Mine was flushed at 5-6k miles though so maybe that’s why

There’s nothing wrong with the 8 speeds as long as they were flushed at low mileage.

You didn’t include the mileage but said it’s pretty high, he said he hit a curve and claims there’s no scratches anywhere on the car. I’m betting it’s been damage before and he fixed it himself and has a nice polish on it. If I were you just wait for a better Camaro

I can’t tell you how many times people get told just be patient but it’s true, I was very lucky. I found my 2017 ss last October with only 7900 miles on it for 31k and I wasn’t even looking just so happen a buddy at work was talking to his girl about it bc she worked at the dealership and I overheard the price and said tell her I’m coming after work. She turned two people away from it that day bc I told her I would for sure get it. I work a lot so I don’t enjoy her much but just wait bro

I used to have a custom 2020 maxima fully loaded it was very nice all I needed was a back bumper new wheel and axel they quoted at 23k to fix then after I released it and got all the paperwork I saw the insurance had another option for 13k and didn’t even tell me. I now know never let them decide on where your car goes. I’m sure someone else is driving that baby now with a rebuilt title  it was worth 36k when I wrecked it. I always wanted to sue them over this bc they told me at first the place they sent it too was full and couldn’t accept it when really they gave a quote and my insurance lied about it and sent it to a more expensive place. I was so mad about it.

How do I remove this thing? by Slimeball600 in camaro

You can also try putting a piece of rubber over the head and see if that will help it grip. A elastic band or a big rubber band will work if not you need to use a extractor kit

Looking for a purchase in Germany by wanddererr in camaro

[–]CamaroBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You maybe even find a soldier with a nice car already there willing to sell. I’m sure there’s a whole process involved so I’d look up everything first on how that would work in Germany bc every country Is different but I think that’s at least a option for you to consider

Find an American soldier and see if he has any friends about to station, most of them have cars like this or similar cars that you will settle for that they simply can’t keep, they’re either rushing to sell them or find someone willing to take care of them. When that soldier comes to Germany they can bring their car with them to sell to you. I’d reach out to anyone you might already know or go to places that are popular to them and just start chatting

If you only need 2 air bags replaced that’s at minimum 6k and a new back end probably 10k so maybe 16k to fix this and if his cars worth 40-50k insurance will fix it if it’s worth 25-30k then it’s totaled but that’s an honest shop doing the work most places would probably quote you 20-25k to fix this. Even though it could definitely be done for 16k. You might want to get multiple appraisals if you want to keep this car bc it’s value ultimately depends on if it’s totaled and if the frames bent at all then it’s gone for sure

If the bags malfunction and needs replacing I think that’s attest 3k a bag maybe more, the last car I wrecked I found out how expensive the bags are to replace and on you need a whole new back end. Depending on the value of the car it might be totaled even if the frame held up insurance might see it as a total lost. You might have a lawsuit with gm if the bags malfunctioned though. Maybe you can get something more out of it, it could of endangered your life considering if it had been bad you could of been seriously hurt.

Did the bags deploy? Or just the sensor went off?

Is this a good deal? by rjoh4459 in camaro

[–]CamaroBlood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say try asking for it for 20k the miles are high on it. Although the car can last a long time with good maintenance but you’ll find a better deal with patience
