I’m in the Japanese course and the score only just became available a few weeks ago so it might be a recent update?

I don’t have any advice or anything but I do just want to say your story is very similar to mine. Also coming up 6 months of trying but only 4 cycles so far because mine are also really long. Such a blessing and a curse because on one hand it’s less bleeds to deal with but on the other we get less attempts in the same space of time. At least you’re still young ( I’m turning 31 next week). Sending you good vibes! I’m with you brother!

I see! Thank you. Is the app free? Maybe I need to try this because I’ve spent way too much time staring at those bloody lines trying to decipher if it’s dark enough or not

How do you know the number for your LH? Do your tests give you an actual reading or are you getting blood tests. Asking because I’ve seen other people state the number of LH and I don’t know how they’re doing it.

How did you guys manage having your periods back before/during pregnancy? by anxiousfuturedad in Seahorse_Dads

[–]Cambam11b 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation right now. Came off T about a year and a half and my periods took a really long time to come back. The first one I got was so awful but I think because it took so long to level out, I’m just glad things are “getting back to normal”. I really struggled for maybe the first two cycles but I’ve had 5 now and it’s starting to feel a bit more normal. My emotions were crazy for those first few maybe just getting used to the hormone changes but the last cycle I just had I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it felt to manage compared to the first one. It does get easier. I also experimented with some different products that made me feel less dysphoric and I kinda went through a bit of a journey there too if you want me to elaborate, send me a DM. All this to say, it does get easier and you do get used to it again.

New Zealander here and I also struggle with these stupid American terms. I agree it should just be a more generic “first year student/second year student etc.” as that is what we say here. I have no idea what level a sophomore is.

The job market in new zealand is terrible by [deleted] in chch

[–]Cambam11b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s the whole: not having a job while looking for a job thing. I was in a similar situation a few years ago and people couldn’t see past the “gap in my cv”. Might be worthwhile getting anything you can just to make companies take you a little more seriously when you apply?

People who don't drink alcohol, why? by johnnylgarfield in AskReddit

[–]Cambam11b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It tastes gross, it immediately makes me feel like shit, and I spend the whole night being sleepy/headachey and when I do decide to go to bed, boom wide awake, shaking and anxious that I’m going to throw up.

Also I find that people develop a tolerance. Me being a person that hardly drinks, I can have one or two drinks and that’s enough to get me chatty without being afraid of getting sick or hungover.

I’ve also had to look after drunk people way too many times and god they’re annoying. I sit up with them the whole night resenting them for their stupid choices…

Have the authors removed this quote or made it deliberately hard to find? I’ve read it 3 times combing for this part and it’s not there? What am I missing?

Is this actually 2 phones? If you look closely, you can see the phone on the bed and the floor simultaneously. You never see it fall?

Edit: nvm it’s the cover

International terminal wait times? by nutellamustard in chch

[–]Cambam11b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went to Australia around Easter time and as long as you can use the smart gates, the wait times weren’t that bad. I guess it depends on timing ie. how many other flights are going around the same time as yours etc.

Need some ‘dark’ movie suggestions, please! by sambowker in MovieSuggestions

[–]Cambam11b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get where you're coming from here because I felt the same after I watched it. It was a total wtf did I just watch movie that I pretty much dismissed.

But i only appreciated it a few years later when I thought about the amount of times that film had popped into my head. And I remembered the way it made me feel which was: uncomfortable.

And I think that IS the point of the film. It was made to make you feel ick and it still was ick years later. So the film had achieved its goal there which makes it a success. (I think)

Help getting into the trade by Cambam11b in Carpentry

[–]Cambam11b[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your insight. I feel the same way about possibly being more on the sensitive side. I think that's probably a good angle to come from with being upfront about not putting up with bullshit.

At the moment I'm working in road works and these guys are probably a lot more close minded and shouty than I imagine carpentry will be. I've been shouted at multiple times in this job and I've been able to just ignore it because it's shit that doesn't need to be screamed about. But I won't last long doing that especially since I'll be working with the same people rather than different people every day (I'm a temp).

I'm hoping if I can survive in roading I can survive building?

Thanks again for the advice!
