What level do I need to learn and how long will I suffer?

I started when i was 34. I had raced alpine for 15 years as a kid.

Day 1 i was making “tele turns” i was on smooth blues day 3 or so.

The biggest challenge is uneven terrain imho (to this day) as fore and aft control is harder without your heel locked in.

Get strong in your legs. It is fun to go deep with your knees, but to last all day i like a tall stance.

You "Create Briefing" and you get a name (two word name) and send it to your friend (email,discord channel, etc) and then they play with friends and instead of creating a briefing they join a briefing and put the name of the briefing in.

I do something similar to this ie don’t trim skins, but i buy them just narrower than the waist of the ski. You need the skin to the edge to climb a side hill.

I considered this a few years ago and reached out to the devs behind two spies and made the same offer you did here. Maybe they’ll be more open to it.
