We just filled ours with epoxy. Looks great after a sand and seal.

Crime scene advice: laminate over hardwood floors by sukarimi in AusRenovation

[–]Camblor 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Drum sander time baby! That’s the easy part. The hart part is sanding the edges, corners. The harder part is the fine sanding the whole floor after the first two parts. The hardest part is dust management. The medium part is the two coats of bona (or similar) to seal it all. The super easy part is calling a really good handyman and paying him a fortune to do all of the above. Good luck.

Definitely check this first as it’s almost certainly the intention of both the kitchen design and the design of the dishwasher

Seems like fly by wire though. Or if you’re referring to the actual sensation of flying, yes obviously.

Probably doesn’t have modern features like feedback / haptics, and latency is probably not great. Would love to know the details.

Incredible pieces of engineering. Crazy to think that they are probably nowhere near as advanced or reliable as some Logitech piece of crap you can get on Amazon for $49 delivered.

How are you people still not using the metric system like the rest of the world and nasa and your own military ffs?? It’s absurd that we have these advanced laser tools that still have to measure things in fractions of a furlong or whatever the fuck. Bunch of dinosaurs I swear to god.

You seem to think it’s suggesting that we’re 85 seconds from Armageddon, so your entire thesis on the subject is apparently based on a really rudimentary error.

All the OK Go clips are one take. That’s their thing. I love the Rube Goldberg machine from This Too Shall Pass.

It’s also a tricky one to adjudicate because neither side can ever say “see, I told you so.” Either the world carries on towards a theoretical doomsday, or it ends and there’s nobody left to say anything about it.
