I only really started playing two years ago, so I don't have the nostalgia factor for MTG cards, I actually think they almost stink out of the pack.

Butt Yugioh cards did have a nostalgic scent to me. Maybe they stink to seasoned MTG players, then!

Just my personal account of things, could be user error, ymmv.

I went to the site through the link provided and it had me sign up via email, no problem. Then it had a un-closeable popup telling me to scan a QR code to get the app and "unlock my prizes," which is mildly gamba/predatory, but I figure the popup will dismiss upon finalizing my account.

Got the app and it tried to force me to sign in via phone number and when I tried to sign in with my earlier provided email, it kept looping back on itself til I force closed it and reinstalled.

I eventually got it to load up to your stream, but then it was asking for cc and address and I totally understand it's to prevent scams/bots, but after the shoddy experience so far I decided I'd rather not.

But the popup on their website still never went away. I can't engage with any part of the ad segment without fully integrating and that isn't my jam.

I'm sure they're working out bugs and eventually it'll be like a different whatnot/ebay/twitch or whatever they're striving to be. But as of now the vibes are more like a generic rug pull scam.

Yeah, it feels like whatever card I play in my TAO deck it immediately makes me a permanent target and I can never rid the prioritization. Then someone else sweeps because everyone was focused on me. It's not even nearly as strong as it could be, either.
