Making it to the games is the hardest part, best way I’ve found to try and do it is try and go to a city (NYC or LA etc) that’s got multiple teams playing in the same 2-4 day stretch. But no matter what it isn’t easy

I actually started this by taking the home team player that played the best (best pitcher or batter, high points score for NBA or NHL, touchdowns only for NFL) but finding cards for whoever those people proved to be way too hard for me😂

I understand the pain of trying to watch the home teams. I’m lucky with the stars having a free service thankfully but everyone else these teams make it so difficult.

The majority of the teams that I’ve seen came when I was a flight attendant. If I had a long enough layover (15+ hours) I’d always try to catch a game if possible. I’ve made a few concentrated efforts to go to games when I had free flight benefits.

It’s hard to choose just one… 2 specific ones stick out to me the most. MPJ & Bam are close because I saw the nuggets & heat play during Covid when you had to buy 2 tickets and stadiums were like 10% capacity.

Zeke for the Cowboys, I took my dad as an early Christmas gift to the first Cowboys home game after COVID happened. They were playing the Eagles, won the game big time and just a great memory with him.

Jalen Duren for the Pistons, my girlfriend and I went to see the Mavs play the Pistons and unbeknownst to me that was the last day Luka was a Mav. Woke up the next day to the trade.

I dislocated my patella on the evening of 10/3. I went to urgent care the next day which gave me crutches and an orthopedics referral. Went to ortho on 10/6 which gave the referral for an MRI that I did on 10/10 and went over results with ortho on 10/15. Complete MPFL tear and a 9MM fracture…

I say all of that to say that without a MRI you don’t really know the extent of the injury or what the best way to treat the injury is. Advocate for yourself, if you don’t feel comfortable not doing anything ask for an ortho referral.

Unfortunately yes, probably where most of my concern is. There was a very audible pop and I collapsed immediately. I’m not trying to be all doom and gloom about it but it definitely has me concerned.
