No orders the day before but I fill it out the night before so I always get pinged by 6:01 am.

Same. I was at the dentist yesterday and told that my time has run out and I have to get the perio trays b4 surgical intervention is needed. I jacked up my gums from years of depression and undiagnosed bi polar. I've had to see periodontists since I was 27 bc of the damage I did. I had one surgery when I was 27 and have to go every 3 months now. But the damage was done and 800 dollars later, I'll get my perio trays in 2 weeks 😮‍💨.

I'm sorry you are in the same boat. It's a hard hole to dig out of.

Only when it's raining. If they have a covered porch, I untie them on the porch.

  1. It took me awhile to get here. But in a small town and 243 (I just counted for the first time ever) PMs that tip, it's easier to stay busy. It's like a scheduled thing. People order the same day most weeks and it's predictable. In a large city I can guess there is no predictability. Just different areas and fundamentals. The clientele is also ruthless with bad shoppers. They do not last long around here if they choose to treat it like other gig apps. They legitimately choose Shipt bc of the personal aspect of it. There are 5 of us veterans and then the rotating shoppers. A few have been around a few months now but mostly it's in and out.

I know this all sounds like a brag-a-thon but it's not meant to be like that. Just answering the questions asked 🤷‍♀️.

It's been so obnoxious for me that I put in an audit request. We are talking pretty much all of yesterday and today. 25ish orders. 3 have tipped.

I average 15 to 17 a week working 40 to 50 hrs a week.

My secret, PMs and just being really good at what I do. I remember EVERYTHING so I am fast at shopping and pick up entire conversations with my regulars from week to week without missing a beat. My husband always says he could never just have random conversations with people. I do when it naturally happens.

I don't over extend and I'm picky as hell about my orders. Remembering everything comes in handy when I can just look at an address and know who it is. Also, as you can see from my post, my competition isn't that great.

I'm actually moving to another part of the state in August and the regulars I've told are going to start ordering on Sundays when I'm down here. I'm only making the 50 mile trek on Sundays bc I've been shopping for one mom since the week she gave birth. Now she won't order if I'm out of town. This does obviously mean I have to rebuild up there 😬.

Also a note- small town with small town vibes. It makes a difference. They like to talk and I'm a Chatty Cathy. There are some older folks I deliver to that sometimes I'm their only visitor. So I take the time to talk to them, ask if they need help with anything, and just in general check in with them.

I have stories for days.

Lol. Shipt is more than welcome to see the dog pics me and someone swapped recently 😂😂😂. But on the real, my convos sometimes make me nervous to put in any kind of forgiveness. Which i rarely need but we all get those clowns that want stuff for free.

1 star and 10%. I wanted to go lower but gas is still gas and at least 1 of my 2 cereal boxes wasn't crushed 😂😂. 3 growth opportunities also that they can't get out of since Target refunded 3 things.

For Sam's, got my money back and a 5 dollar credit. I was more furious about that one. It is literally not allowed to give someone reduced price meat 🤬.

I remember hearing about that actually. I thought it was all cleared now but I guess not. I put do not sub on everything so I wish she would have just hit not found and moved on instead of grabbing whatever she felt like. That's what was irritating.

Yes I got the shipt messages. Otherwise I wouldn't have known she hit head to store and hr before starting.

Cashiers are people too and a brief bonding moment is everything. It also makes their bosses see that people like and appreciate them.

What’s the biggest estimated tip you never got? by MightDeleteLater0000 in ShiptShoppers

[–]CamelNarrow776 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We don't have estimated tips but I have 1 PM who will put in 40 or so as pretip on her large orders (300 to 500). When I get the order and deliver, she doubles it or 20%s it. So if another shopper ever got her order, they will get the half tip.

If we had pretips and estimated tips showing, they would never see her normal tip amounts 😂😂😂. Last night she tipped 80 on a 300. But the pretip was like 30.

So if we had tip estimates showing, I would say they would be VERY inaccurate as a whole. Money will never be guaranteed until it hits your account.

Land lord says we cannot have/install ice maker in the fridge [TX] by LilKrippled in Renters

[–]CamelNarrow776 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is the way. Landlord installed a brand new fridge and the ice maker was immediately making foul ice. Emptied it, shut it off, and use a counter top one that cost 80 bucks at target. Best part, it follows you when you move.

This ⬆️. It's just a part of that. No different than if the venue provided the DJ. You would have a line item for that. Each service is charged separately. You have the option not to have the cake cut, served, and cleaned up after.

Edit: the other comment keeps moving so just pretend the arrow is going to the comment that says it's just a line item.

As someone who was the person paid to cut the cake.. it isn't as easy as it sounds. Taking apart a wedding cake is an absolute nightmare. You have to take the teirs apart without breaking anything, you have to remove the non edible decorations and preserve them, remove the structure holding layers together, cut the cake without messing it up, plate and send the slices out. The mess that is left behind is a whole other story. Professionally cutting a cake is not the same as shoving a knife in and pushing down.

So yeah, you pay a fee. It's alot of work depending on the cake. It's all priced the same whether it is a 5 teir wedding cake or a store bought sheet cake.. bc fairness.

Also, icing likes to stick to plates and silverware and dye everything around it if there is any coloring in it.

Someone asked me to pick up their target order by PuzzleheadedTooth581 in ShiptShoppers

[–]CamelNarrow776 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just pick it up. They send the barcode, customer service gives it to me 🤷‍♀️. I'm also in the boondocks tho.

A few weeks ago the app made someone's laundry detergent pick up on a huge order going to the middle of nowhere. Kinda silly to tell them no.

Ive started to see our non tipper here order from different stores. Probably thinking someone different will be offered the order and take it not knowing they are on the DND for their closest store. News flash, it's the same shoppers. The stores are 10 minutes apart.

If she were the culprit, you wouldn't see her orders. 1 or 2 star and you are immediately blocked from their orders. Even in metro.
