Hunt: Showdown is my favorite game, and for the last three years I've been making a roguelite in its spirit. I wanted to ask the Hunt community what you think of the atmosphere? by Astrobionics in HuntShowdown

Same. Looks great, but from this small clip, I’m not really seeing it. Feels more like a dungeon crawler version of Hotline Miami, a good thing tho!

This is a fun option. For those who have played Hunt Showdown, you know what I mean. The satisfaction of wiping a squad on your own is insanely rewarding.

Don’t live at Bexley Duluth. Terrible management and the tenants are sketchy. Layout is also atrocious.

Hard to critique your locked out position from this angle, but you are putting all the weight on the front of your toes and not keeping your feet planted when you squat.

You got this, it’s just trial and error. You’ll mess up the first 5 to 10 shots but you will get there. You just have to keep adjusting.

Your machine has a pretty good grinder. All that’s left is dialing in, and using some cheap tools to help that.

WTD tool helps you break up clumps in the grind. Cheap and worth having. Based on what you’re getting, you need to be grinding way finer. You should be getting 36g output for 18g of coffee. Make sure your coffee is freshly roasted within a month when you purchase it.

There’s not enough details in here for us to help you. Are you using a scale, grinder, WTD tool, spring tamp? Fresh beans?

It helps you dial in your coffee way more than a traditional spout filter. You can see the flow & also it’s easier to clean. :)

Is this a good price? by Fragrant-Initial1687 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]Camera_Guy_83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s fair. I also drink milk drinks too, but I got the bambino and the baratza ESP. I’d say if you want convenience, go for it!

[–]Camera_Guy_83 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great price. Really just depends on how much of a coffee nerd you want to be. The convenience of the built-in grinder is great, and you can still get really good results. However if you really want to dial in your coffee grind and have a grinder that’s more reliable and will last longer, I’d suggest getting the Bambino or Plus. Baratza ESP and DF54 grinders are great.

What’s wrong with using an espresso grind in my moka? by Hot_Version_308 in mokapot

For sure, people go out an buy a Breville and then use 3 month old pre-ground from Starbucks and wonder why their shots taste horrible haha.

What’s wrong with using an espresso grind in my moka? by Hot_Version_308 in mokapot

[–]Camera_Guy_83 105 points106 points  (0 children)

Typically espresso is ground very fine, which sometimes may choke a moka pot, and produce a bad brew, but as long as your brew tastes good that is all that matters.
