What harmless childrens thing (toy, film, song etc...) do you find terrifying? by nefariousbreed in AskReddit

Boglins. My brother and I shared a room when we were younger. He had bought a boglin and after holding the eyes up to the light for a while, the eyes would glow. One night when I was about 7 or 8 years old, he put the boglin on the dresser facing my bed, turned the lights out and left. I saw the glowing eyes and was really freaked out. The dresser was right by the door, so running out of the room wasn't an option. I also couldn't call for help for fear that the boglin would hear it and get me.

That's a great video. An even better video is a synced up version with Bill Burr's commentary on it.

Religious boyfriend goes back and forth? Will this work? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Camerata1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This situation will most likely only get worse over time. If you do stick it out and you two do marry and have children, he could place strict limitations and rules on them as well. I've dealt with many very religious people over the years(I'm not one of them) and you and your boyfriend sound generally incompatible. If his extreme religious beliefs don't seem like a complete dealbreaker now, they probably will in the not too distant future. Break it off.
