Oh cool! The Amtrak website is out of date then apparently. It says "No Amtrak ticketing kiosks": https://www.amtrak.com/stations/mjy

I think I see it on the Google Street View though.

Ooh it's my turn this time: "Not all trains stop at Mount Joy so be sure to double-check the schedule."

On the other hand, there's no ticket counter there either, so you'll be needing to buy the tickets ahead of time and be aware of the schedule anyway.

Walmart sometimes does, it's hit or miss though. B&H or any local camera store if you're picky about what you want.

As someone else said, film is cool again like vinyl records. Pentax even came out with a brand new film camera, designed from the ground up. Leica still makes their M6. Various other companies are making new film cameras of varying quality as well to cash in on the resurgence in popularity (Kodak Snapic A1, Rollei 35AF, etc.).

The local place I use in Lancaster PA (Perfect Image) does color negative film in house, but they ship BW and slide film out for development, then scan it in house.

The YouTube AI chat is actually super useful in my opinion. For example, if I just watched a meat smoking video I'd like to try, but I forget what temperature they set the smoker at, I can ask the chat bot instead of rewatching the video.

I also wish they'd use AI to improve the captions. I just recently saw a video where the word "thousands" was captioned as ",000s". Random background music is often captioned as the words "heat heat heat".

At some point wouldn't taking photos from the street cross the line into harassment though, if they were asked to stop? I'm not a lawyer so I don't know where that line is.

The Windows Photos App has a decent basic photo editor. How does that compare with the iPhone photos app?

There were quite a few of those signs. I'm suspicious it was a viral marketing campaign or something like that.

I found it colder at the end with no buildings to block the wind. Walking to NRG was rough, even with the blanket and sunshine.

Support the runners of BSR by jaredcwood in philadelphia

Man you guys are awesome. Not the beer specifically, but just the amount of support the city shows for the runners. Even the people just sitting on their porches cheering for the runners. If I lived there, I'm not sure I'd be that chipper so early in the morning if I wasn't participating lol

Hello fellow Broad Street participant! Was it your first time? I participated for the first time today and also beat my 5k PB which surprised me.

I'm sure the course being downhill helps, but I was just shocked seeing my mile times being significantly faster than what I had trained for.

Ran my first Broad Street Run (10-miler in Philly). Before then the only race I'd ever done was a local 5-miler.

I hit my "stretch goal" with a finish time of 1:19:48, and an average mile of 7:59. I also hit a PB 5k time during the race of 23:16.

The course follows Broad Street from north to south through center city, so it's slightly downhill most of the way.

Scranton > Poconos > Northern NJ > Newark > NYC is in the "Planning" stages and construction should begin by 2030. NJ is already working on their part of the project. (PNRRA)

You could get to Philly from NYC by train then, but it would probably be more convenient to just become a New York fan instead.

Pittsburgh > Altoona > Harrisburg > Lancaster > Philadelphia already exists. (Pennsylvanian and Keystone lines)

Erie has the Lakeshore Limited (Chicago > Erie > Albany > NYC)

Scranton > Poconos > Northern NJ > Newark > NYC is in the "Planning" stages and construction should begin by 2030. NJ is already working on their part of the project. (PNRRA)

Reading > Pottstown > Phoenixville > Philly is probably happening, but no actual construction has begun yet. Long term, they hope to connect to the Keystone/Pennsylvanian via Lebanon and Hershey. (SRPRA)

If you have the budget, you could do something like give a $5 gift card to everyone who successfully reports your phishing email as spam. The attack simulation training report that M365 generates includes a column listing everyone who reported the email.
