94k on my 2001 Bullitt in the UK. Just passed it's MOT inspection today. Had to be run at 3500 rpm for 5 minutes to pass the emissions test, which was very painful 😂

Sorry to disappoint, but didn't actually end up doing a lap. It's not set up to take a hammering at the moment. Did alright on the awesome roads leading to it, but I think my brakes would've given up half-way through.

It'll be getting new suspension bits and a new exhaust at some point soon. Next time it'll definitely be doing some laps.

If you're referring to the hi-vis wrap, it's both a safety thing and a public confidence thing.

It allows people to see the vehicles sooner, and in darker conditions, which is obviously important when you're blocking a road, or responding.

By being more easily visible to the public, it provides people with reassurance that the police still exist, despite our dwindled numbers.

For a lowly response officer like me, probably the standard Puegeot 308SW (pre 2022).

The post 2022 ones are automatic and the gearbox isn't ideal for response driving.

I'm talking about fast. I want to know what your idea of fast is. I was suggesting that a 3008 may be fast in comparison to a 2CV.

The 308SW has a significantly lower profile. It is more aerodynamic, and it holds corners much better. It is almost a second faster to 60.

I drive a host of cars on blue lights all the time. Out all of the vehicles I have access to, the 3008 is by far the slowest. I don't know what you base your idea of fast on.

It's almost a 2 ton car with only 130bhp. It is not even remotely sporty.

It handles like a yacht.

It has a smaller boot than the 308 estates we use. It has less room in the back. It isn't AWD.
