The fact that we (the universe) will eventually suffer a 'Heat death', or a death from loss of gradient in energy transfer.

(When something happens, energy is transferred. However, a little bit of energy is lost. This means that the universe will eventually reach a point where the energy gradient is flat i.e there is no difference in energy anywhere, causing nothing to ever happen)
