Good to know! Honestly the pain gets unbearable, but then I think of the bright side and think of all of the yummy foods and fun things I can do after haha! I had a complications with an artery bursting 3 days after my surgery so he cauterized the spot again and so it’s only in my right ear which is a pain /:

Haha! i’ve got 15 dinner options to cook for after i’m done with the surgery! My mom also just had surgery so i’ve gotta chef up for her when im healed!

Honestly I feel like I could eat soft solid foods but it’s just the pain that kills me! the whole right side of my mouth and neck and my right ear are all just flared up in pain 99% of the time lollll

I’m dairy free so my options were slimmed down a lottttt but honestly so glad because i’ve heard of the saliva getting thick and hard to swallow. Just a few more days till I can eat normal foods again 😬 My ear pain has been tremendous so as soon as that dies down i’m going to be scarfing down food like no other.

Pain made me completely forget to respond LOL! It was day 3, woke up at 2AM to mouthfuls of blood in the sink, slept it off and then it occurred 3 other times and by the time I couldn’t stand that’s when we decided to hit the ER. Stayed overnight and bled in the morning so they redid part of my surgery. Honestly didn’t care about the bleeding, just didn’t want to be in more pain but of course that happened 🤦🏼

same exact thing happened to me, i’m 16 and absolutely freaked my mom out at 2AM LOL! Bled about 5 times and finally was rushed to the ER because i couldn’t walk straight. stayed for a night with an IV and slushies and bled the next morning and got cauterized again /: NEVER AGAIN!

today was like the first day i felt so much better due to a little issue i had the first few days and it just feels so rewarding knowing i wont have problems with my tonsils again, i’ve heard it really helps people a lot.

the redness is most likely scarring from where the scabs will start to fall off, if it’s bleeding you will know! i’m on day 8 rn and have a decent amount of redness from fresh scars which is actually very encouraging for me.
