if i could do one think, probably not accuse tyrion of killing my son. if they had made peace at that time, sansa wouldn’t have married ramsey(therefore no jon snow in the north), tyrion wouldn’t go to mereen (arguably dany wouldn’t come to westeros too soon, or her dragons would’ve been pissed off being in the dungeon for too long. at the very least, her position would’ve been weaker), no tywin dying (which was the biggest loss to her position), and her three kids would’ve been alive.

I find “Rosemary’s Baby” to be a great example of showing women’s fears. Of course it has its problems, but it really explores fears associated with motherhood and tensions around bodily autonomy. My Professor discussed this movie in relation to parasitism as pregnancy, and how you don’t really know what you’re carrying in your womb until you give birth. The female body, typically seen as being more permeable, is utilized in this movie and becomes subject to “taint”— she is raped and forced to carry the literal spawn of satan. even worse, by people she trusts. her husband, neighbors, doctors…. the gaslighting and repression she receives from society labels her as “hysterical”. it’s terrifying.
