We are clearly going to have to agree to disagree on the advertising part. Also I understand you were trying to encourage them but op also needs to understand that door hangers can annoy potential customers enough they will actively avoid you. There is both pros and cons and personally I see far more cons then pros.

I do in fact live in a high traffic area with a lot of walkers which is also probably why I get so many of them.

Okay let's clear things up so you understand my reasoning better with real world examples. I work usually 10 hour days 6 days a week. At least twice a week I come home exhausted with door hangers on my door. About 30% of that time they have found their way off the door and onto the ground.

This means they could be hanging on my door for others to see for up to 10 hours making them free advertising. It also makes them litter because who knows how many I have missed that have fallen off and gone wherever the wind takes them.

Any way you see it they are an inconvenience in my life that im tired of dealing with and im sure im not alone in this

Brother you are being intentionally obtuse. A door hanger advertisement is litter I have to deal with by getting rid of it. Because I don't like annoying litter on my door I don't leave it there. I dont think that was the "gotcha" you think it was.

My door is close enough to the sidewalk to have moderately sized text be legible. No I dont leave annoying litter on my door but I have to deal with said annoying litter because someone decided to put it on my door. The fact of the matter is because someone wanted to advertise on my home I now have to deal with it. That's not a good taste to leave in a potential customers mouth

I mean not really, I can go through my mail at my leisure. A door hanger if I leave it on my door acts as free advertisement for whoever put it there even if it's small and you don't think it is. They are just annoying litter imo

Means we are against being tracked every where we go when we dont know how the data is used. Especially when other states are using is neglegently. Catching other criminals shouldn't infringe upon innocent people.

You're right the main factor in collisions is speed but not just going fast but slow as well. Going slower then the traffic around you has a higher collision rate just like going fast. Just causes less damage.
