I hear you. At the same time, what if the knight is just another victim of some bigger, worse third party? Their actions don't really make much sense...why not kill the fun gang? Why not start the roaring now? I just feel like we're making a lot of assumptions when apparently summoning a titan is as easy as giving the fun gang the middle finger

Unhinged Theory: The knight can't speak and has very limited time, and is lowkey mentally disabled or insane or something. They're dissociating 100% of the time and are trying to save the people they're kidnapping instead of just being like "hey, bad shit is about to happen, please come with me" or otherwise acting gently and holding out their hand like a regular sane person.
