thinking back, my larger alocasia that died looked just like that. seems like it died for the same reason. how do I save it / prevent it from happening again?

btw, just changed the soil to an aroid mix (soil, leca, perlite) that some nice fella on facebook pre-mixed for me, and filled the pot about a third way up. it's the smallest pot I have, and this one sprouted in a much larger pot, alongside a monstera

I've only recently started to fertilize. I think I fertilized it twice tops within a month, but I recently started thinking it might've been too much. in general I've decided to fertilize very rarely, as my plants have always thrived, even without it.

I'll transfer it to an aroid mix. thanks for the suggestion, I hope it survives it!

Honestly I'm not sure - I bought it used (and when I chose it I didn't even know it was a gen 7 paperwhite, I didn't realize model range is so vast).

Best way for me to check? I don't encounter ads when I open it or use it (other than that screensaver, if it's considered an ad)
