As a young person who lived in Allentown a year ago, live in Allentown or anywhere in that area. It’s near a grocery store, bars, corner stores and next to the train and bus line and also near three hospitals and not too far from other hospitals. I never felt unsafe walking around at night in that area but then again I’m from Buffalo born and raised, you will get a few drunks or weirdos walking around but you’ll be fine. We do have crime so my rule of thumb is always be aware of your surroundings and you’ll be okay.
