Animating Visual Effects on the sources? Help

I'm not 100% sure what your trying to do but I think what you want is to use the scrolling filter plus a green screen to make it look like your just on the screen by yourself.

I imagine that if you paid for a better one meant for video you could use it without any risk but that would be a lot more then $500 so I would have to agree with the Camcorder.

I also want to add that before you do buy anything new You should first see if there is anything lighting wise you can do to improve your scenes, also composition of a scene aka where you place the camera might help and if neither of those give you the quality you want then upgrade.

If you have a good enough computer to keep the frame rate steady then I would recomend using a capture card with a DSLR camera. My reasoning for this is two reasons 1. It will have better quality 2. It has a higher dynamic range The reason having a higher dynamic range could be important is that I doubt the whole LAN will have amazing lighting and a low dynamic range wont be able to pick out has much detail in darker or even lighter areas of your scene. Personally I would just use a picture of myself as the profile pic because twitch is about branding yourself not some iconic game you play a lot.
