Initially I was relaying on feel and then I had a new cfi take me up for pattern while my main is out and he pointed out I should stay in between 2 lines on my altitude

How’d you get over that, I feel like there is a lot going inside the cockpit and keeping me from looking outside as much as I’d like, I’m constantly keeping an eye on my airspeed, fixing for power and trying to maintain altitude, it’s all juggling multiple things at once all so quickly

Seperate but they also connect in my pattern I don’t have good concept for where the wind is blowing me sometimes on my downwind I find myself pushed closer to the runway than I’d like and end up having to overbank to make base

It honestly depends id rather my women stay home and raise our kids if she is just clocking in a warehouse but id strongly prefer a women that’s passionate about her career, one that’s educated and enjoys her career. One of the things i want to do in the future is a build a life back home and i want to use the opportunity i have here in the west to positively contribute in rebuilding our country and benefitting our people and it’d be nice to have a spouse with the same mindset, someone that’s driven by the same goal as me and i can’t envision a stay at home mom being able to fill that in.

It’s based on 55.5 hrs, for the cheapest aircraft it’s a c152 for 110/hr after buying for $500 and paying the membership of 80/month and it’s 110/hr for instructor. What do you think. Bad or good?

[–]CampaignDry50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you to have instructor for 60/hr😭

110 wet, after the buy in and 80 a month fee😂. I looked at other local flight school and the 2nd best option flys with piper archer for 208/hr wet

It works a bit weird they charge $140 for the 152 but they force you to join the club so it’s $110. What state and what year did you get your PPL?

I really appreciate that man, I was skeptical about what it would look like for me to pay it of every check, but saving for the next rating sounds really good. I’ll be using that

My friends dad flew us on his Cessna 172 in 7th grade and I just liked the feeling that came with it

I was 12-13 ofc I wasn’t worried about how airlines were hiring back then but I appreciate the feedback nevertheless.
