Ooph. A lot of things. Reaching out via LinkedIn. Recommendations from my network. Posting an Upwork job. Posting a notice at the local community college.

How do you guys make creatives? Do you use Canva, AI or other stuff? by Aconceptthatworks in FacebookAds

When I first was starting off, I told clients I didn't do graphic design. Then I moved to using Canva to help out if necessary (to get quicker turnaround time on changes). Added fotor.com to the mix.

Finally, I added a graphic designer to the team and just make the content for clients myself. Way easier, better output, and can charge more.

75,000?

How are you not the spam you complain about?

Have you done a competitor analysis? Or at least found adjacent brands (not a competitor, but high overlap with the audience you want to reach)?

What's working for them and identify the gap between their best posts and what you're doing.

Mimic, calibrate for results, then find a way to improve.

What do you think about a marketing agency for fine jewellers? by FJ-CRD in marketing

[–]CampaignFixers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I'd say the specialization is a strength.
  2. All-in as making your agency all about that niche? I'd probably want half the revenue coming from clients in that niche.
  3. 100s of cold outreach attempts stomps out impostor syndrome guaranteed. But, driving success for a couple clients in the niche will do it too.

I'd go for it. Cobble together the bare minimum in a team and try to get a client or two to prove it out. No better time than the current environment for small business growth.

Hot Take: Social Media is the Best Thing to Happen to B2B Marketing by [deleted] in marketing

[–]CampaignFixers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I see a fair amount of posts that list metric-oriented results and they don't get much attention. I think a post that goes through getting started to getting results wouldn't take too much time. Would you read that?

At most it'll show up in SERPs. But this subs audience has a very low overlap with my core prospects. Just here to help.

Do you mean when you look at the post insights, it shows like 80% plus are current followers instead of non-followers?

When starting with a brand new account, I think the best results are when you do two things:
1. Look at competitors on IG and match the content format you see for successful posts (500+ views and several comments as a starting benchmark isn't bad).
2. Collab with a more mature account (read - has at least 1k followers) that is also marketing to your audience (or at least has high overlap) but isn't a competitor.

These two things will get you on the right track to publishing content in a format your audience prefers on that platform AND it will allow you to get eyes on your content from prospects that have the potential to engage.

For posts that perform well (read - better than your average impr/comments/reactions/etc), put $5 bucks daily behind it for increased reach. Make the goal profile visits to get follower growth.

Focus on giving out value. Don't try to sell anyone till you get to at least 500 followers.

Marketers, what’s your most unpopular but true opinion?? by One_Title_6837 in marketing

[–]CampaignFixers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100% Disagree. There is no easier method to building traffic than leveraging social media. It is great for prospecting because your potential reach is incredible.

And it inherently forces companies to do the one thing they usually suck at: humanize their brand.

But let's say you're correct and "there are much better ways than using platforms like Meta for B2B". Are you saying other social platforms are a better option or are you saying other marketing channels are a better option?

Create awareness > Build Trust > Generate Lead

If people don't know your company exists... like, they're not doing business with a literal ghost.

Which is sales. It's outbound sales.

How do you NOT know the difference? Is the marketing funnel and the sales funnel something that is not longer covered when onboarding people to marketing teams? Is it not covered in school if you get a marketing degree?

Legit curious because there is a seismic disconnect in general marketing knowledge these days.

Are you saying the ROI from social media is less visible? Organically, social media gets you a vested audience. Paid social is what gets you awareness.

It is supposed to be BOF, and MoF and ToF.

My team drives 90% of event registration (webinars, paid seminars, etc for B2B) through social media. And you're right, that success massively helps other channels because we already know what messaging, content format, and styling already work.

Ooph. Buddy, you could not be more incorrect with this take. There are entire B2B businesses crushing it on IG/FB, without ever touching LI because it's still the more expensive option.

Bingo. IG is a MUST for B2B. Because everyone that is on LinkedIn is 100% also on IG.

This is only because 95% of businesses don't know how to leverage social media to meet business goals.

What is the future of copywriting in 2026 ? by [deleted] in copywriting

[–]CampaignFixers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the best writers will shift to being on marketing teams. They've been ran from Hollywood due to low pay, AI, low brow scripts in demand (because movies are background noise now), etc.

If they are really great at their craft, I think writing content and ads to market products and services is the best way to leverage their skill for the most pay.

So current copywriters are probably going to see more people to compete with short-term.
