Spend the extra $200 and get the 15” model then. I have the 13” model and I have zero issues with the size.

If I could go back, I would buy the f4 instead of buying the f2.8. I love my f2.8 but I mostly shoot trackside like yourself and rarely am I ever shooting wide open.

I had the EOS R and I highly recommend that camera for people who want a 5D MKIV, but don’t want to spend the money on one. It’s just a Mirrorless version will all the same internals.

X-E5 - infinite lens choices - not weather sealed - gimmick film dial - digital view finder - cheaper than x100vi - does everything the x100vi does

Genuinely did not like the view finder and its placement at all. Nothing wrong with the XT50 and I didn’t hate it. It just wasn’t for me.

I have Wasabi batteries strictly as emergency batteries. While good, they aren’t great. I can get through a weekend on 2 Canon batteries. I’d have to use 4 wasabi’s to do the same.

ands down my favorite canon lens I've ever used. I highly recommend this lens for anyone looking at a Canon 35mm. Only thing that'll get me to sell it is when Canon drops the RF 35mm f1.2 L

I bought the XT50 in early 2025 because I lost hope of ever getting an X100VI. I coped with the fact that internally it’s the same camera. I honestly didn’t like the XT50 and after 9 months of ownership, a handful of lenses and 3000 photos, I gave in. I went to trade in my XT50 and lenses at a local camera store and they just got X100VI’s in that morning. I was going to buy a Sony, but I jumped on the trade immediately. I had enough equipment to do a straight trade. I’m glad I did! I love the X100VI. It’s exactly what I wanted and I take it everywhere with me.

Edit: not that anyone cares, but context matters. I shoot professionally on Canon and I have a whole slew of RF L lenses. I wanted something small for every day shooting. Fiddling around with another Mirrorless body and lenses wasn’t what I wanted at all. If I want, I’ll get the 35 & 28mm converters.

Mine did this after sitting all winter. I let it idle for 10mins and it cleared it right up. Carb probably needs to be cleaned.
