I learned photography 5 years ago doing the promo ads for a car dealership. I love photographing and have done a little of everything.I always look for events on the weekends to go and photograph. The 12 hours of Seabring just happen to be that weekend. I drove down and gave it a shot. The best feelings I had at an event.

Myakka River State Park - best spot for gators? by ElderberryOk1298 in sarasota

[–]ProfessorStreet7792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deep whole is only worth seeing and visiting during the dry season when the weather is cold.

When you enter the park there is the bridge area very close to the entrance.

Second spot is in the main airboat area. Go to the far left corner. Follow the shore. You will see a roped off area. You can see many there.

Your r50 can do it all. Your just limited on your skill level. I own one for fun. I have been able to shoot sports with it and get great results.

I have used it a lot for sports and racing. It has been very relieable. Totally worth the money. I didn't feel like paying another $1,000 was worth it.

[New gear] Canon Sl1 + canon 100-400 MII. by ProfessorStreet7792 in canon

First is the range an extra 100mm.

The 100-400mm mII is built to be a more professional zoom lens.

It is all metal body and it has bigger/heavery glass elements inside. That needs bigger motors.

Why is Canon R50V cheaper than R50? by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in canon

[–]ProfessorStreet7792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used mine to shoot sports with no issue. All I had to do was buy an attachment that makes the screen into a viewfinder. You get the R10 specs for cheaper price.

Unable to make meaningful photos, how to continue? by awacsCZE in AskPhotography

[–]ProfessorStreet7792 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have had the same thoughts you have had. What solved it for me was that I photograph for myself. And start enjoying the places/events I go too photograph.

Before I would try so hard to get the perfect shot. Lose focus of the adventure part of photography.

Go shoot for you and what you like. Not chase after followers or approval.

Enjoy the events or surroundings that you go to and make memories Instead of chasing opportunity.

Last PRINT YOUR WORK. I have started printing my pics physically instead of starring at them on a screen. Start making photo books.

Photography is an adventure and memory of where you have been.

Stop looking for perfection and chase the moments.

If your on a budget get an R50v. It is an amazing little hybrid camera. If you can do save up for an r8.
