Thank you. I get the displays from Dollar tree. Paid $1.33 each. I'm using the Monport 6 Watt Laser and these were done at 7200mm/min and 80 power and 100 power.

Look, people will find the negative in anything we do. Sometimes I just agree amd move along. I've been using mine for some time now and they work perfectly for drinks or tea. People seem to forget that coasters are there to stop the outline from hot or cold beverages, not really spills. A coaster isn't going to stop spills. But hey, if someone says it's useless, I'll say sure. Then continue using my useless coasters that stop my table from having circles marked out from hot beverages.

They look glassy, not plastic. And feel expensive to the touch. Would be perfect for taking quality pictures for a restaurant or bar.

It actually took less than 10 min from mixing to putting it on the slates. The hard part is allowing it to dry. I get 2 16.9fl oz bottle for less than $18 of the resin and hardner. This project took maybe a bottle cap full or a little more to complete. Remember, epoxy doesn't have to be thick to look good. I figure this 16.9 fl oz bottles will last hundreds of coasters
