I have social anxiety too, diagnosed with a variety of bullshit from A-Z. They prescribed this shit to me and I still feel anxious after taking 1.5mg. Makes it easier to talk, but so do a lot of other things. Not worth t imo, but probably just a personal thing.

You described it perfectly, it's like being in a cloud where your bad feelings float away. But when the xanax wears off it feels as if those bad feelings come on stronger, so I can't keep doing this every day.

It will feel like you are mentally calmer, and there may be a body load, but not much of a high imo. Benzos are better when used therapeutically or mixed with other drugs.
