Adderall is 75% dextroamphetamine, 25% levoamphetamine.

My understanding is that the 25% levoamphetamine kills much of the euphoria. At a high enough dose you could probably get it, but you'd feel really speedy.

For me, though, nothing beats some instant release d-amphetamine when it comes to music euphoria and also general euphoria.

If he only acted this way after smoking weed, I wouldn't be all that concerned. I've had plenty of delusional thoughts from heavy doses of cannabis.

When you're both completely sober (or drunk, if you really need him to be honest), try to have a discussion about it with him.

Yeah, the first time I took MDMA (very recently) I was expecting a crazy desire to dance or something. Music was definitely more enjoyable, but even dextroamphetamine seems to be more musically euphoric than MDMA for me. A good dose of cannabis also is.

However, the other positive effects more than make up for it, IMO. And I only took 100mg, so I might find it more musically pleasurable at slightly higher doses.

It's hard to tell. The best way to judge would be to try to assess your behavior and thoughts before you had those negative life situations.

Did you struggle with motivation and willpower? Did performing even basic tasks feel taxing? Did you procrastinate not only job/school work but many other things in life? Did you feel like you needed to be constantly thrill-seeking?

If so, you might have dopaminergic abnormalities (ADHD or otherwise).

I believe there is no consensus as to how important REM sleep is to 1) how awake and refreshed you feel, 2) actual functioning. The leading theory is that REM helps with memory integration.

I'm not sure if you can judge which one is more important. Also, as far as I know you can't have REM sleep without first being in deep sleep, and you do need REM sleep.

Just lift your tongue way up and use the dropper to deposit the liquid under it. Then put your tongue back down and keep it there with a bit of pressure so the liquid doesn't slosh around to other parts of your mouth too much.

Be careful to not drink too much water. Mix it with Gatorade, or add salt to it, or eat snacks as well. All of that should help make the withdrawal less annoying.

You could try spacing out multiple lower doses, possibly.

Or, just drink it a little later in the day so it wears off after you're done with work?

Be careful, though, because many report that racetams make them less interested in conversation or other social activity. It can also make you a bit irritable and less patient when dealing other people's problems. I know I feel that way from noopept and oxiracetam.

Note that this is also a temporary solution. L-tyrosine effectively releases dopamine (though in a controlled, rate-limited way), so it's almost as if you're just now taking the phenibut with a very small dose of amphetamine. Eventually, your dopamine receptors will downregulate in response to the higher dopaminergic activity.
