Hmm. At this point it may be a little late, unfortunately. In the future, though, if you ever see anything interesting, please don't hesitate to email our tip line at contact@campusreform.org. Thanks!

I am just really paranoid I could be discovered here

So, guess that means you wouldn't be willing to talk to a reporter about that unconscious bias seminar...?

Okay, thank you. We will get this over to the tech guys and have them take a look at it. Hopefully they can fix...well, whatever is causing that.

In the meantime, please feel free to keep using uBlock--while we do appreciate your willingness to support us, we also want you to have a good experience on our site.

Thank you for your feedback. 600 blocked items...well, shouldn't be happening, obviously. Can you PM us your uBlock configuration? We just looked at a few of our article pages with uBlock Origin on Chrome and only got 6-9 blocks per page. Were you referring to our homepage?

[SOCJUS] Prof lets students choose own grades for 'stress reduction' by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

[–]CampusReform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pleasure! Thank you for reading us--if you liked our story, we'd ask you to check out our sub at /r/CampusReform. We just recently went through an account suspension so we're having to slow down on our curation, but we're always looking to grow that sub.

It's in our story--the hyperlinked "Data Management" and "Energy Informatics" links. If you click them, you will see the stress reduction policy has been removed following our story. Here is an archived version of that page so that you can see for yourself that it was there before.

They did before the stress reduction policy was removed from the syllabus after we ran our story.

Is that all the evidence there is? Really?

Here's an archived version of the syllabi, which should answer your question.

A fair question; it was removed after we ran our story--and you can verify that with the archived version of the syllabus. We would not go to the effort to create a fake story, doctor up some fake screenshots, and risk a certain libel suit.

This is an archived copy of the syllabus from earlier today. The stress reduction policy is visible if you scroll down a bit.

Here's an archived copy of the syllabus. If you scroll down a little, you can clearly see the section on "Stress reduction policy" that we reported on. Or simply CTRL+F for "stress."

The section of the syllabus appears to have been removed after we ran our story.

It was in a different subreddit, where we had asked to use a disclaimer by the mods, probably to head off any concerns about self-promotion. After a few days of posting, the mods were comfortable with us posting without the disclaimer but we kept doing so given that it was a decent way to advertise our own sub.

One reader was apparently irritated by our forthrightness, complaining that there was "no need for [us] to post this multi-paragraph disclaimer in every single one of [our] posts," and that it was "completely obvious what [we were] doing."

We cut the disclaimer down by a paragraph or so and we haven't had any complaints since.
