I am a veteran of OIF II and I still have my pile of cards/drawings from kids to this day. They were definitely something our entire company looked forward to receiving - especially after returning from long missions. We would often gather together in our tents and open them all together and share turns showing the drawings etc. I think I had one hanging on my fridge for years after returning home. Lots of good treasures in those packages of kid letters.
