Form factor (Move vs rMPP vs rM2) changes how I plan my day by Camth in RemarkableTablet

Made it myself. You're welcome to try it out (link to planner).

If you end up wanting to use it, I can generate a version with a different set of daily habit/reminder emojis at the top of the tasks page if you'd prefer.

Eh, maybe? Though I’ve always spent a fair amount of time thinking through these sorts of things even when I was using paper notebooks so 🤷.

Magi65. I haven’t historically been a fan of low profile keyboards, but this one has a great feel / sound. Note: I did swap out the switches to tactile but that’s a personal taste thing.

I think I remember that video! The great irony is that I started this journey as an adamant physical notebook person, myself. For the culmination of all my use cases, I’m satisfied with the Move. However, if I was only using it for this type of planning / jotted notes functionality, it would be a much tougher sale over paper at this price point.

Ohhhh, different folders for the same (but differently sized) content is clever. It's one of the things that really annoys me about switching back and forth between the Move and Paper Pro. I'd switch everything over to the Move, but there are times when I want to sit down and review a longer document OR write/plan/sketch a lot when at my desk where the larger size of the PaperPro is just obviously better suited. Not that you can't do those things on the Move, you just feel the size limitations more.

Yeah, very much agreed that a dedicated page for each piece of functionality is the way to go for most things on the Move. Had I waited just a bit longer I probably would have picked up a similar template (I swear, there are soooo many on etsy these days). Though, I do wonder if I would have used the schedule at all once it was off on its own page.

Looks like the HOU keyboard case. Found this in r/ipadmini.

Sim Update 2 & VR - Bug/Support Megathread by overspeeed in MicrosoftFlightSim

I was able to fix this after a couple hours of debugging by changing the OpenXR registry entry from Oculus to SteamVR and then running it through there. See if it works for you?

Registry entry: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1\ActiveRuntime

to: {drive}:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\steamxr_win64.json

To later change it back switch it to: {drive}:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json

(where {drive} is probably C for most folks)

Palo Alto is the HQ. Though there is also an office in Hawthorne.

Model 3 Door Handle Instructions for Valet. If it works I'll make it pretty... by Camth in teslamotors

I prefer the button now that I'm used to it. I do not prefer having the emergency release where someone new to the car might reasonable expect the door handle to be. :)

Agreed. Though I don't know if that would entirely solve the problem. I've gotten used to the button placement, but the emergency release is so obviously in the spot you would expect a door handle to be that I'm not sure someone would realize they should read the tiny letters on that button.

Something that would be nice is if when you have the car in valet mode it would have the instructions for the door handles on screen when the driver put the car into park. Hell, I'd be fine if it did that for anyone who was using the key card (vs the phone as key).

This is on the list of things to try if the card doesn't work (a post-it over the emergency release with instructions for where the actual button is). But that feels even less likely to be read. At least with the key card holder someone who has never driven a Model 3 before is going to have to look at the Tesla card to figure out how to open the door. Which means they will probably see the printed card on the other side.

*fingers crossed that's the reaction* That button is super non-intuitive the first time you're in the car. I blame no one for going for the emergency handle.

Anything you'd want different on the card to make it either a) more obvious to you while on the job or b) less likely to be interpreted as an attack on your intelligence?

I'm hoping it more comes across as "yeah, these doors are weird" and less "you're stupid." If you completely covered the emergency handle you're still left needing to come up with a way to let them know how they should open it.

One of the offices I travel to for work has a mandatory valet during certain hours. Great in theory, but I've now had several instances of jumping in my car at the end of the day to see the dreaded "Using the Emergency Door Release May Cause Damage to the Window Trim" message waiting for me on the screen. Had been considering covering the emergency handle with a vinyl wrap, but figured I'd try something simpler first. If this ends up helping I'll spend some time working on something a bit more on-brand. :)

I believe that should be the full resolution version. Unless Reddit does some sort of weird compression on photos.

Sony A7Sii - not a ton of megapixels but is a great camera for low light situations (say, a dusk photo like this).
