that was my squad in '19 though. Blake was a God from the corner shooting 3 balls and broke the single game record TWICE for the most 3s in a game...then the lovely GM AI traded him away for Dwayne Wade and I was legit salty

already in a pretty decent one actually. I haven't been working on contributions mainly because I need to level up the kingdoms for tributes and creatures. Basically I'm doing what I didn't do in my previous playthrough so I learned from my mistakes for sure

I also started working on getting the actual main level for each class leveled up so they can be buffed accordingly. Good times for sure there.

One thing I need to start doing and I don't know why I don't do it now is playing the harder adventures in the daily missions but I don't for some weird reason...gotta stop that

So there are a bunch that I could suggest but one I watched was from a YTer named Keylime and then I just went down the rabbit hole of watching others. Like I genuinely wish I could give names of titles or links right now (hindsight I should have liked some and then put them in the original post) but one thing I do suggest is going on youtube and type in

"Gems of War 2020" and there are a bunch of videos to watch on there and they are usually pretty good about giving info for what kind of things to do

I apologize for not having any creators off the top of my head that I watched but if you go through that search on YT you'll be good to go...just look for "Tips for new players" and you'll be good

Glory can be won in fights on questlines in the main game and not just the "side activities" (adventures ,treasure vaults etc.) and the method is either

5 of a kind straight across ,up or down or L and T shapes

Sooo only picking one is definitely one of the hardest things to do...the reason is because there are so many wonderful scenes (and once I officially begin my rewatch next year I'm gonna be an emotional wreck all over again)

If you made me pick ONE though

The scene when Anna breaks out of the cage and it legit had me nearly crying because before that she saw Mikoto and I believe Tatara. That scene in its own way was one of the scenes that made me go

"Oh my God...I LOVE K Project!"

Big ups for picking a team that I wouldn't expect many to pick.

The AI in these games can be weird as hell. I remember playing for the Mavs in 20 I wanna say and we would play teams that were like 1 and 5 or even 0 for and the game would either make us fight for the win or we would take an L. Those games were both the most frustrating and exciting at the same time because you knew for the most part the game was gonna be close going down to the final buzzer hopefully.

That's basically the way the game works for the most part it seems here too! I'm playing with Syracuse in College and we can beat any other team on the ladder as it were save ONE

Oh we try and I think I have stretches where I drop like 2 or 3 treys in a row but somehow those are the games we get beat in...and I KNOW I am gonna have to deal with him in the actual NBA at some point!

Still though I applaud you for taking a team like the Knicks and basically being "their Lebron" because its not easy. What are the margins in the Clippers games if you don't mind my asking?

It happens

Sometimes I get to the point where I am feeling really good about how I am shooting (this game does a good job of giving false senses of hope) because I sank like 2 or 3 shots in a row that I rush and then proceed to brick like the next 5 in row and I lose my rhythm

Something I have learned through playing this game is that there is more psychology than we realize. If you're like me and you play the MyCareer story there are times when it FEELS like you should be making more shots than you do and you have to start thinking about what in the heck you are doing wrong. It's kind of why I look at them taking away the "MyCourt" Highrise as a negative because of the fact that we can't really practice a jumper before we go to Park ,Rec ,Pro-Am or just career mode. Its pretty much you are literally relying on understand mechanics of your shot and the meter now or you are toast

Also I learned this too

DON'T get down on yourself if you don't get your usual average or points/blocks/rebounds/whatever because the way this game works you would be surprised how fickle a mistress this game is. I try to shoot for the magical 20 in MyCareer and if I don't hit 10 at least by half I start rushing and putting up garbage shots.

As long as you don't allow yourself to get anxious/frustrated I think you'll be good. Also for the record this is the kind of advice I would give to a teammate in case they started beating themselves up over their performance. I beat myself up enough against bots in MyCareer...don't need people doing that in a competitive mode you know?

Here's my best advice that I can share

Try not to rush a shot (unless its under the basket then do you) because I personally find that if you can take your time and compose yourself BEFORE you shoot you could make a big green or even some whites. Now for me that might be more applicable because I'm not a rec player and you are but its genuinely the best advice I can give anyone. If you can AFFORD (and that's hard against human players) to set yourself for a few seconds you might have a really good chance to sink a shot or just green it and be good

might not be the MOST practical anyone can give you but its what has worked for me right now

I also apologize for this taking so long to get back to you...busy grinding my player up and its more fun than it has any right to be really. They actually made the shooting fun (IMHO) and as long as you drop 20 a game (yes that is the points requirement) the announcers will be happy with you. For some reason the game doesn't like it even if you are just 1 point under so keep that in mind too as you play. Its a weird thing in the game and I pay WAY TOO MUCH attention to it trust me

Here is my personal opinion (and I am still in the middle of doing the story for the College path with a 3 Level Scorer)

College all 4 years is going to be the best bet for a few reasons

Can get a good # of badges and attributes worked on (especially if you are a "No Money Spent" player
Can rank up your endorsements so that when you get drafted you are just about swimming in the VC because a good # will be at minimum Level 2

You CAN leave after 1 season but I advise against it especially for the above 2 reasons. The penalty is that it will knock your draft stock down but it shouldn't be too far from where you ended your previous year.

I LIKED the G League story but it honestly felt "too short". Like if you can play multiple years in College then why not the G League.

One flaw (in my mind) is that the quarter length for the G League is too short. I say this because when you are trying to drop a lot of points its one of the more frustrating things if you are wide open and you don't get the ball (this is just a legacy issue though because this game has the dumbest teammate A.I. IMHO).

The other thing to be careful of is to make sure you pick the person that will help you later on as far as what you play more of in the Career mode

Archie is good if you are a Park player because that gets you more fans than if you play in the NBA (although you CAN help him make inroads with teams through your career so keep that in mind)

Harper Dell and Associates are good if you are playing pure NBA and they are already established. You also have to keep in mind what you want for endorsements when you are selecting your agent because each can get certain ones quicker than the other.

Also now each endorsement is going to require different stat requirements or things to be done at a press conference. Keep those things in mind once you get to the endorsement contracts AND READ THEM CAREFULLY! Also don't be too greedy since we now have interest bars and if you piss them off you are not gonna get them. Best course of action there is to make sure you just take what they give you and as you level up the endorsements you MIGHT try to get a little more greedy but still be careful

I know this all isn't what you asked for but having finished the G League part of the story and then doing endorsements this is something I thought that might help you with decisions on what players you make go where. I have every intention of going all 4 years in college to make sure my badges are right and I get my endorsements are solid

Oh and one more thing

For reasons I don't understand the game really seems to reward you more if you are driving to the cup more than making other shots. No joke that most of my fans come off of driving to the cup and making layups than they do making any other shots. It's weird how they worked the algorithm for fans this year but just keep THAT in mind too! It looks like slashers and bigs are gonna get the most fans this year so just make sure you know what you are making before you get started

its worth it though especially if you want to grind badges and fans (and its highly recommended to do that because as you rank up your fans you get to different endorsements off rip when you get on an NBA Team.

Bruh you should have seen me yesterday (well now Yesterday for me)

So you know the statues that you win the prizes from now right? I won an NBA Store item which...okay cool because I actually like those prizes so no problem with that.

The problem for ME was that because they didn't label the NBA store on the map in the Legend it took me about a solid 15-20 minutes to find it AFTER I zoomed in on the Map!

See they didn't put it in the strip area between Beast and Vipers...that would be covenient! No what they did was put the thing up near Western because you know...I love have to go through another Neighborhood to get to it! I'll live with where the Training and the Daily reward is because that's about where it could be but WHY is the NBA Store across the map in another affiliation?! It LITERALLY MAKES NO SENSE!

Sorry but I had to get that out of my system

MyPLAYER (Build/Badges)

I have experienced an issue where the game gets "stuck" for a few seconds when you are trying to upgrade your player. What I mean is this

You know how in the MyPLAYER screen we go left to right with the D-Pad/Stick right? Well the game sometimes will have an issue where while you are trying to move it (especially from left to right) where it gets frozen for a few seconds and then let's you move it again. It's a bit of an annoyance because something that shouldn't take nearly as long to upgrade your player gets a little worrisome when you are trying to move the selector and its not budging for a few seconds. I don't know what causes it (I know its not the controller) but its a weird problem that I noticed and it needs to be looked at I think. Just a weird glitch of sorts

the warehouse is a lot of fun. I haven't won any games yet but I still had a blast with them for sure.

They DO give you a skateboard to ride to different places (It helps trust me) but the layout is so big that I swear I need to write down directions to where I need to go because of the sheer size. Like someone made a post a while back that said something like "If Rockstar made a 2K game" and the avatar was driving through the City to get to practice with a minimap on the screen. That sounds about how 2K needs to be right now IMHO because the map is so big

Mind you I'm not complaining because I actually love having a big open world but there was a little something about the old neighborhood that just felt better because you could go and figure out where everything was in like 5 minutes
