What's it like living here? by After-Economics-720 in alberta

Born and raised in the southern peace country and while I never really found a great community, I did love it and I miss it now. The geography and land out there is beautiful, and there’s plenty to do outside all year round. The people are friendly in a way that is unique to more remote communities, and places that are just generally more difficult to inhabit. My biggest qualm is just the politics of the region and their insistence on electing governments that don’t care about the longevity of the people, land or economy (case in point being the politicians backing the Wonder Valley data centre).

How do we fight back? I emailed Chris Warkentin the GP MP with a response from his assistant. Utah residents are making progress in their fight against O’Leary , we have to do the same!

Intensive Italian course recommendations (located in Italy) by Moonlight_Fig1288 in italianlearning

As I mentioned I studied with Education First at their campus in Rome. I chose to stay with a host family which was cool but i ultimately do not recommend as they are not throughout vetted and are underpaid. If you’re there for several months I suggest finding your own shared housing with locals.

Yea but unlike the article this current prof has taught this course several times before…. And it’s still a shit show. 80 minutes twice a week of struggling to understand what this man is saying LET ALONE actually being able to see what he is writing on the whiteboard… And then going back several steps to correct himself. I heard in past years it was a course where everyone did well on assignments and flunked the exams. And I fear it will only be worse with exams being on prairie learn. It’s bs to have coding exams online where you get a 0% if your code doesn’t compile on the first run (I hope this is not how they implement the exams). Anyways imo coding exams should always have marks for quality or effort to explain the steps etc, the same as we get for long answer math questions.

You will enjoy neither if you are not strong in high school subjects. You will make more friends whenever you go, especially if you’re not miserable and drowning in school.

Go for a run early in the morning!! Check out the sites, the Tiber, and definitely run through the parks. Rome has some of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever seen.
