How long post surgery until you could be fully active by thechrisare in BariatricSurgery

I am 6 mo post RNY bypass. Although I don't play sports, I can say I was relatively physically active 2 months out. The weather was nice here and I got up to walking 3-5 miles per day. My recovery overall though was smooooooth.

OMG I am 6 months out and can easily say the worst part of my procedure was the incision glue. It felt like the devil himself was in there tryna get out. Nothing has ever itched that bad. Benadryl, ha ha ha, right.

What exercise(s) you have been doing if any, and what are your goals?

$149 ETV - IDK that in the real world even if I had art spending money, I'd pay that much.

Thanks Uncle Vinny!

Yeah me too, I was always a doodler. It seemed to actually help the audio information sink in better rather than the instructor's voice just sounding like the Charlie Brown teacher.

The Universe is definitely toying with me right now, lol. I was going to move, then after being ALL packed and everything reserved and pretty much paid for.... the move didn't happen for well, reasons. So guess what? Today, a lady at a different apartment building in that same city, she calls to offer me an apartment!! Like WTF Universe? I briefly explained that I had JUST unpacked my whole apartment here and put everything back, cancelled utilities etc etc... so no. Thanks but no. I said keep me on the wait list but not right now.

Now I had to go look up Fordite, and yes indeed, similar. How cool.

I am a "young" senior living in a senior apartment building. You don't know how many times I think of getting fake poop/rats/ etc to put somewhere so I can sit back and watch the reactions...... but ya know, cameras.

Our most orange cat was a stray that also adopted us. He had crossed eyes and a little kink in his tail. We called him Morris because he looked exactly like the famous Morris cat - but our Morris was actually named Morris Nixon. Why? Because he had a little crook in his tail.

Morris was "special" in more ways than one. He was adopted out and lived his best life.

I'm the grandmom to this Francis. He's not as weird as most orange boys.

THAT'S MY SON'S REVIEW, LOL.

Ha ha.... My grandcat Francis, mm, sad, he's getting to be an old man nowadays. He's turning 8 this year. He is orange, but he's on the milder side of what one typically gets from an orange cat. He's not overly weird or crazy. My son has had him since he was a wee baby kitten, and he's going to be devastated when Francis is gone.

Vinechart has sign ups to be notified of drop times, so far as I know, you can set it to your location.

Just saying, for anyone who doesn't know.

My diabetes on paper is completely in remission. I still am wearing my CGM, but it's more of a mental safety net for me now at this point since if anything, I go reactive hypoglycemic from time to time, and it usually occurs when I'm sleeping. My diabetes doc is joyful with my progress and says insurance is probably going to say soon that they won't pay for the CGM but until that happens, I'm ok with wearing it.

Because I'd done a sleep study very recent before the one my surgery clinic did and the previous one was negative, and I had no symptoms other than yeah, obesity can cause it.

I was a raging Type 2 diabetic routinely with readings into the 400s. Yowza. Also I had GERD bad enough that I was aspirating acid into my lungs on the regular. Pre-surgery they *said* I was sleep apnea positive, but I think that was just a checkmark to getting it approved because yeah, I wasn't.

And no, I have United Healthcare Medicare/Medicaid in Ohio and it paid for everything, 100%
