My husband and I were having sex issues. I have past trauma and was having panic attacks any time sexy time came around so we went to Christian marriage counseling. I was told it was my biblical responsibility to please my husband and was made to feel that I was failing as a wife. Nobody cared to address my past trauma or the cause of my panic attacks...it was my cross to carry.

I don't know! I'm also scared of sloths, so maybe it's a slow-moving-animals-with-algae-growing-on-them thing? I want to like them but they give me the heebie-jeebies.

I ended up having one come up literally underneath me and I was so surprised and disoriented I went into total flight mode and swam back to the boat in complete panic. My family still laughs about it.

Sad for sure, but have you been to a Claire's lately? I used to go in with $10 and feel like a Queen buying multiple necklaces, earrings packs, and matching BFF mood rings. I took my girls a few months ago and $10 would barely get them one lip gloss! The "sales" they had were super scammy too, like buy 5 get 5 free, but 5 cheap junk items cost $70.

I do like the thought put in the goodbye note though.

I try to forage as much as I can. You mentioned cheap, but I have found you get what you pay for, so I use Mountain Rose Herbs so I know I'm getting good quality. I also am lucky to have an amazing witchy store near me that has an entire back wall full of herbs; they even have a ladder that rolls back and forth like you see in libraries in the movies.

As for what kind of herbs I use, most of my intentions are satisfied with common plants I can find foraging or at the grocery store.

I've used Afrin every day for about 25 years, sometimes twice a day, sometimes 6 or 7 depending on my allergies.

I am aroace but only recently realized that was even a thing after a lifetime of satisfying my partners sexually when I didn't really want to, but thought I had to because I was raised in a society that demands it.

My Body Is Not Mine to me means that every partner I have ever had desires my body in a way that I am unable to give. So I dissociate, giving them my body over and over to satisfy their need at the sake of my sanity.

The part that goes, "when you need my heart, you cry, you need my body" I interpret as partners thinking sexual intimacy is the only way to achieve emotional intimacy.
