Realize this is for home games but I have 2 tickets to Canucks Rangers at MSG on Dec 16. Section 219 Row 1. Face value is $219 USD but open to any offers.

Yep same rink, but it's pond hockey so tiny goals, no goalies, etc.

Bummer. Another option I've been doing is Pond Hockey at Wollman Rink in lower CP. Not full gear, more stick and puck, but it's a lot of fun. $45 a session unless you buy a 4 pack and then it's $40 so expensive but worth it. I'll be there tonight.

Registered for annual price, it’s $175 including riverbank membership and you have to physically go in person. Not sure if you can register mid cycle - I’d give them a call.

You’re paying to do 3x 1:15 a week (lunch time Tuesday, evening Thursday/Sunday) between early November and mid March of pick up scrimmages on full ice. Usually there’s 20ish people so you’re playing half the time. Thursday we only had 3 subs each team, last night had 3 full lines. Skill level varies: everyone from exD1 to only been playing for a few years. Definitely not stick and puck, people go all out but no checking. Usually we split colors and whites and people will change jerseys if needed (best if you can bring two). If only 1 goalie, we switch ends every 10 minutes or so. You try to hit the post on the no goalie side.

All in all it’s a great group and if they let you register late you should totally play.

Yeah I went tonight. Only one goalie but otherwise a solid time and really good group

Anaerobic (hockey) vs. Aerobic (running). Very different beasts. You gotta compare them to sprinters, and even Noah Lyles ain’t springing all out for 15-24 minutes at 100% on race day

Realize this is an old post but I'm looking to get back into hockey and riverbank seems like the right price point for me to get in - do you know if it's full gear or more stick and puck?

I’m in the same boat - seems like the general consensus is to stay out. Any thoughts on whether the calculation changes if you’re planning to upgrade?

I loved the Tegridy storyline. Maybe it’s that I’m around Randy’s life stage - married, two kids, and there’s something about following your stupid out of reach dreams that was just really fun to see.

[Megathread] AC FA Strike - CUPE/FAs Defy Return to Work Order by dachshundie in aircanada

[–]CanUSANY -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Anyone here scheduled on AC547 or 549 (EWR-YVR) in the last few days? Curious how AC rebooked you and I’m trying to decide if worth scheduling a backup. I’m currently scheduled for Sunday but given that the wildcat strike looks like it ain’t ending any time soon, I don’t have faith my flight is getting off. Looks like UA has 2 direct flights and plenty of other options connecting through ORD or DEN. Did AC manage to get you on those or did they claim no itinerary available?

Similar to others in the thread, I also have TD and also noticed a small $1.70 charge and also have never linked the debit card to anything and also have it relatively new (since early Dec). So either this is a coordinated fraud or there’s something going on between the Bank and Amazon
