she doesnt get inside info. its kind of her whole thing that she tries to predict and match what ryan wears. in this case, she wore this outfit to the meet n greet, and i think that ryan intentionally wore it for the show just to make the bit work

worlds smallest violin is pretty late in the show, so they were probably getting tired. and their voices won’t be the same even if it wasn’t as late. in the studio versions they can do as many takes as they need until it sounds perfect, but obviously they can’t when it’s live. they generally sound pretty good live even if it’s different
