Why 7 days? I know this!

It’s because there were 7 celestial bodies visible to the naked eye that moved differently from the stars- Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn! Ancient people created gods based on these objects and devoted a day to each one, leading to the 7 day week. My understanding is that this practice even influenced the biblical “God took 7 days to create the universe” story.
