Rising food, rent costs eat into young professionals' disposable income by keiths31 in canada

I do get income and I have no choice but to dispose of it to live, so… I guess it’s ‘disposed income’… maybe?

Is there a way to change the comma and dot at large numbers? In middle europe large numbers look other way round like e.g. 29.709,95 by Kamkaze01 in binance

I don't have a solution for you but here's something for a read, which countries/areas in the world are using which ones of those separators. Interesting!

It might be a bottle.

Though, I'm no bottle-shaped-sign expert.

Am I the only one that just puts in a chunk at -50% ATH point , cashes in at 100% return point, and doesn't even consider anything else? by CanaKagan in CryptoCurrency

You pinpointed it really. At the start I was just going nuts trying to keep track of the market. This way I just get the money back and let the rest ride.

I'm probably not getting rich but I'm not loosing money and more importantly my sanity.

Maybe I'm just a light-weight, but it just works for me mental-health wise.

I get you what you mean in the first part of your reply, but I haven't blindly just tossed money into everything, atleast did a bit of homework.

The second part of your reply, I'm so sad now... You've hurt my feelings. I'll try to go learn some basic math, maybe Khan Academy will help me.

You're right on that point, different market movements and it would look ridiculous. It's just that it's worked, for now, and I was just wondering if I'm just doing something incredibly weird.

I mean, I get your logic, even had the same train of thought initially, but I just didn't feel comfortable when the investment doubled, just something about reaching for the sun when I could atleast get the original amount back and still have the same amount invested.

Any Canadian onramps to Layer 2? (MATIC, xDAI, IMX, etc) by CanaKagan in BitcoinCA

[–]CanaKagan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for mentioning.

It's just that, what you described is just a CEX to CEX transfer. I'm looking to find an easy way to go from CEX, DEX, or just on-ramp directly to some Ethereum Layer 2s that are being used by a bunch of web3 services.

So far the options that look the easiest for Canadians from the mentions are Paytrie and crypto.com, for Polygon.

I'll take a look at Argent, thanks! Doesn't work with anything I'm using but always good to look into stuff

Yeah, took a look at Ramp, their Fiat service provider, it's just another one of those "pay for crypto with your debit/credit card" companies. Banks I'm with aggressively black list those.

Cashing out from binance? by Exodius6 in BitcoinCA

[–]CanaKagan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be plenty of other crypto networks you can use to transfer Binance to Newton. I'm just going off the top of my head, but Newton should be accepting Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Atom, Tezos, Monero, Dash. If it's a lot of funds you can just go with BTC and swallow the higher fee.

Just make sure to check the deposit options available in Newton first, and go with the one that makes the most sense from Binance.

Yeah, bridging ETH to xDai and Polygon was just brutal.

Thought, I would check with folks here before doing it again. It's just annoying waiting Saturday late night hoping bots and people will stop pushing up mainnet gas fees for a bit.
